Everything is bigger in Texas

After the non-stop adventures of Ant Candy's week in Fresno, Patricia and I decided to return the favour and jumped on a plane for Texas.

They say everything is bigger in Texas, and they're right.

The cars are bigger.

The tow-trucks are bigger too.

Public buildings are bigger. This one, the State Capitol in Austin has more floor space than any other capitol building and, thanks to the statue on the top, is slightly higher than the National Capitol.

Even the hangovers are bigger - although this one was significantly augmented by sedatives prescribed to soothe a nervous air traveller. You know the warning label that says "Consuming alcohol while taking this medication is not recommended"? This is why.

The dogs are smaller, but they have big hearts.
