Sky Road - near Clifton, Ireland
The sky road climbs magnificently, and sometimes alarmingly, up a slope on the coastline. We were there in the late afternoon and the sun filtered through the clouds in distinct rays that made the earth glow and the water shine like a mirror.
If you happen to have a low tolerance for natural beauty I suggest avoiding this part of the world altogether. After a few hours of unrelenting splendour I conceived a strange desire to see a few tall concrete buildings. I have clearly lived in cities for far too long.
